Hotel Posejdon is a modern, two floor, beachfront hotel situated in Vela Luka at the western end of the Croatian island of Korcula, one kilometre from the resort centre. It features 148 simply decorated guestrooms with white walls and wooden furnishings, which open out onto balconies with sea views. All include satellite television, direct dial phones and desks. Bathrooms have showers. The half board room rate incorporates buffet breakfast and dinner each day.
The hotel's Posejdon Restaurant serves international cuisine with Dalmatian specialities, and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests can relax on the beach, have a drink in the bar, and enjoy live music on the sea facing terrace. There is also a television lounge and a billiards table, while practical amenities include currency exchange and complimentary parking. Scuba diving fans can make use the resort's fully equipped dive centre, and tennis and volleyball are also available nearby. Vela Luka's resort centre can be reached via a one kilometre stroll along the coast, or a short boat ride across the bay. There are numerous restaurants and cafes in Vela Luka, and a ferry port which links the resort with other islands. Archaeological artefacts can also be found at the Cultural Centre, and the eastern side of the island is home to the ancient walled city of Korcula. Dubrovnik Airport is 150 kilometres away, an approximate driving time of three hours.

Taxis and hire cars are available from the airport. Buses run from the airport to Vela Luka, and the hotel also provides airport transfers for an additional fee. The island can be explored by car or bus, and there are a number of ferries travelling to other islands and the mainland.
