Opened in 2003, the Hilton Paris La Defense is a five storey hotel set in the business district, three kilometres from the Arc de Triomphe. The 148 guestrooms are decorated in warm colour schemes and come equipped with Internet connections, cable television, direct dial phones with voicemail, minibars and complimentary weekday newspapers. Bathrooms include handheld showers, telephones and complimentary toiletries.
Guests can enjoy pre dinner cocktails overlooking the square in L'Echiquier, then sample contemporary twists on classic French dishes in the gourmet restaurant. Essential provisions can be found in the onsite grocery store, and the hotel also offers a newsstand. The hotel houses ten adaptable meeting rooms, the largest of which is able to accommodate up to 120 people. Audio visual equipment, including video conferencing technology, is available on request. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can exchange currency, provide around the clock room service and book sightseeing tours in the city and surrounding area. Guests can take in views across Paris from the top of the 110 metre Grande Arche de la Defense, one kilometre away. Those with children can enjoy a family day out at Disneyland Paris, 32 kilometres from the hotel. Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is 19 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 35 minutes.

The RER train service serves the airport. Line B runs from the TGV station at Terminal 2 to Gare du Nord, Ch�telet les Halles, St Michel and Denfert Rochereau, with connections for the Metro. A taxi to the city centre will take around 45 minutes. Roissybus serves all three terminals and runs to the rue Scribe for Metro Op�ra. The easiest way to get around Paris is via the fast, cheap and reliable Metro service.
Driving directions: Follow signs for Paris on the A1. Change onto the A86 towards La D�fense, and then follow signs for La D�fense 6. At the Exit 6 level, stay on the left hand side of the road and then take the 'Taxis Grande Arche' exit on the left. After the barrier, stay on the right until the hotel.
