The Hotel Ucciardhome is an old converted building with high brick arches and historical design motifs, located in Palermo's old town, two kilometres from Castello della Zisa. The hotel's 11 air conditioned guestrooms have light colour schemes, marble floors, and minimalist weng� wood furnishings. All rooms offer air conditioning, satellite television, dial up Internet access, complimentary newspapers and minibars.
A breakfast in bed service is available, as well as room service that can provide full dinners upon request. There is also an onsite wine bar featuring a wide selection of regional wines. The 24 hour front desk has multilingual staff that can assist with transport bookings, and babysitting arrangements, as well as bookings for the theatre and other attractions. Conferences and seminars can also be held at the hotel for up to 50 people, with audiovisual facilities can be provided upon request. A number of attractions are located nearby in Palermo's historic old town, including the Puppet Museum, one kilometre from the hotel. The Arabesque style Castello della Zisa is two kilometres away, and there is an impressive cathedral in the town of Monreale, 10 kilometres from the hotel. Palermo Punta Raisi/Falcone Borsellino Airport is 25 kilometres (16 miles) from the hotel.

A shuttle bus is available in Piazza Crispi, from which the hotel is reachable by foot (take Via Borrelli, turn right onto Vicolo Ucciardone and then left onto Via Enrico Albanese). The nearest train station is Giachery, two kilometres from the hotel. A typical taxi fare from the airport will cost approximately 50 EUR. Palermo's historic centre can be explored on foot and there is a good public bus network throughout the city as well as a metro system.
Driving directions: From the airport take the motorway from Trapani towards Palermo. Take the Via Regione Siciliana and exit at Notabartolo. Head in the direction of the harbour. At the end of Via Duca della Verdura, turn onto Via Enrico Albanese.
