Location. La Magnolia hotel is located in Sorrento, Italy, 100 metres from Piazza Tasso. Sorrento Cathedral is 400 metres away and the main train station is two kilometres away.
Hotel Features. Housed in a Mediterranean style villa that is surrounded by lemon trees, La Magnolia is a convenient bed and breakfast set just off Sorrento's main square. The front desk can help guests with boat, car or motorbike hire. Parking is available nearby for a surcharge.
A complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily at the hotel. There is no restaurant on site, but a number of dining options are located within walking distance.
Guestrooms. There are seven guestrooms available at La Magnolia. The furniture was produced by a local artisan and features inlaid wood. Guestrooms are air conditioned and include television, minibars, telephones, and safes.
Expert Tip. Sorrento has two marinas: Marina Grande, 700 metres away, and Marina Piccola, 400 metres away (Big Marina and Small Marina). Hydrofoils leave from the marinas to the island of Ischia, 55 kilometres away. Tickets are sold directly at marina level and there are restaurants and caf�s available.

From Naples Capodichino Airport (NAP):
Distance to La Magnolia is 55 kilometres, approximately 60 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis to the city centre cost approximately 20 EUR. The Alibus shuttle leaves every 30 minutes for Naples' central station (Stazione Centrale). Tickets cost 3 EUR. From here the Circumvesuviana train departs regularly for Sorrento. Journey time is about one hour. Buses also depart regularly for Sorrento. Hydrofoils and ferries sail to Sorrento from Naples' harbour. La Magnolia can organise airport transfers for a surcharge. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Sorrento is compact and easily explored on foot. Buses operate throughout the city centre and the surrounding region. Sorrento's train station connects the city to the rest of Italy. A car is recommended for exploring further afield.
Driving directions. From Naples Airport.
Take the Autostrada A3 to Salerno/Penisola Sorrentina.
Exit at Castellammare di Stabia.
Follow signs to Sorrento.
