Location. The Royal Mirage Fes Hotel is located in the centre of Fes, Morocco, 500 metres from the historic old city, and 10 kilometres from the thermal baths of Sidi Harazem. Fes International Airport is 15 kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The Royal Mirage Fes Hotel combines traditional Moroccan features with modern comforts. The air conditioned interiors offer rich, intricate decor in reds, greens, and golds with large sofas and cushions, and low tables. There is a sauna and a hair salon, and beauty services are available.
Royal Mirage features four restaurants and two bars, including a poolside bar. Menus offer a selection of French, International, Italian, and traditional Moroccan dishes in sumptuous and informal surroundings. Al Wadi restaurant provides live entertainment in the evenings in the form of music and belly dancing. Room service can be ordered around the clock.
The hotel's business centre offers a range of services and conference rooms, with smaller meeting rooms also available.
There is a swimming pool in the hotel grounds with a large patio area and poolside bar. The hotel also offers two floodlit tennis courts, and fitness equipment. Children can enjoy their own swimming pool and playground within the grounds.

Expert Tip. Until the 19th century, Fes was the only provider of Fez hats, which were dyed with a berry found only just outside the city. The historic town hosts a music festival every year, celebrating World music. Musicians such as Ravi Shankar and Youssou N'Dour have performed here.

Getting there. Taxis are available from the airport and cost around 120/200 DH to the hotel. Prices are subject to change.
Getting around. A hire car is recommended for exploring the surrounding area.
Driving directions. From the airport, follow the signs towards downtown Fez.
At the Avenue des Far traffic lights, turn left.
Carry on straight ahead, just past the roundabout, to reach the hotel on your left.
