Location. The Embassy Suites Hotel Dulles North in Dulles, Va., is steps away from the Ashburn Ice House and minutes from the Udvar Hazy Smithsonian/Air and Space Museum. The Loudoun County Wine Trail is also nearby. The corporate offices of Verizon business, Airbus, Freddie Mac and AT&T are within one mile of the hotel. Exxon Mobil, Northup Grumman and Verizon are within three miles. Recreation such as tennis, biking, hiking and jogging are within two miles. The sprawling fairways of at least 12 golf courses are minutes away.
Hotel Features. The hotel serves a complimentary cooked to order breakfast each morning and a manager's reception in the evening. Recreations include indoor and outdoor pools and two fitness centers with cardiovascular equipment. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the building. A business center are on site.
Guestrooms. Accommodations include 154 suites, including five Presidential suites, 10 VIP suites, and four executive suites. Each suite has a dining room and separate living room and bedroom areas. Suites feature two cable televisions, refrigerators, microwave ovens and telephones with data ports.
Expert Tip. The Air and Space Museum features the largest collection of historic aircraft and spacecraft in the world and celebrated its 30th anniversary in July 2006. The Udvar Hazy Center, which opened in late 2003, was built to help accommodate the spillover of all the museum's many artifacts.
